Water as a Symbol of Time and Impermanence
By mechanically controlling the flow of water, the project highlights how time, much like the flow of water, is subject to manipulation and varies based on perspective and context. The use of water symbolizes the transient impermanent nature of life and individual existence. This poetic project touches upon concepts such as the cyclical nature of time, fluidity of time perception, and the limitations of a numerical representation of subjective account of time.
